Netflix Tudum describes Arcane as an animated series based on League of Legends, following sisters Vi and Powder as conflict grows between the neighboring cities of Piltover and Zaun. Once close, the sisters are pulled onto different paths as inequality, political tensions, and a powerful new technology reshape their world.
The series gives its fantasy conflict an intimate center: a family bond strained by history and by the sharply different lives the two cities offer. Its layered animation and action support a story about belonging, power, and the costs of division. Arcane may appeal to viewers looking for richly imagined animation, character-led fantasy, and a story that balances city-scale conflict with personal stakes.
